As with Adults, it gives them a tool they can use on the spot to relieve tension and boost their self-esteem, helping them to feel more in control.
What EFT can do for them is to show them they are not 'bad' kids. They have just the same emotional response to life that we as adults take for granted as our right, because we have the experience and are older with more responsibilities.
But what if you could help your child to have a more positive experience? Wouldn't you want to help them? Countless times I have heard parents say, "I want my child to have everything I didn't have". I have said it myself. Well this is a simple and effective tool to at least help them to manage their emotions, in a way that may not have been available to you as a child.
When they have a block about schoolwork - help them to recognise why and deal with it.
When they seem angry all the time - help them to recognise why and deal with it.
Divorce and separation can be confusing - help them to understand and accept their feelings
There are many ways to help your child, and in turn help yourself.
