Becoming a Parent for the first time should be the most natural thing in the world, shouldn't it? Then when, and if, you go onto having more children, it should be easier, because you have learnt from the first time!! Sounds so simple doesn't it?
Life doesn't always turn out the way we are told it should, so if you are struggling to feel in control when all around is chaos, perhaps learning some new strategies will help.
Happier Parenting with EFT, is designed to help you regain your sense of self, as well as helping you to establish a calmer, happier and more structured environment for both you and your children.
Children and Adults alike respond better when they know what the boundaries are, have the freedom to explore, and feel secure in the knowledge that the people around them respect them as the individuals they are.
How the course works:
Each week we will look at a different aspect of parenting. There will be time to discuss and practice in the session as well as work to do at home.
Week 1: An Introduction to Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Week 2: Mum and Dad know best
Week 3: What's your parenting style
Week 4: How would you describe your child
Week 5: Understanding your child's behaviour
Week 6: Happier Parenting ongoing
The course runs for 2 hours each session at a cost of £90 per person, payable in advance to guarantee your place.
At present the groups are restricted to a maximum of 4 people per session, and can be booked in either Kidlington or Cowley.
